What is this course about?
<p><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:"Source Sans Pro",sans-serif">There are five main areas that will be covered during this course. These will be corner to corner, creating horizontal lines and vertical rows (rib), bobbles, popcorn stitch, puff stitch, shell stitch and filet crochet. </span></span></p>
Who is the course for?
<p><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:"Source Sans Pro",sans-serif">This course is aimed towards people who can already do the basic stitches but want to take their crochet skills a step further.</span></span></p>
Any previous experience/qualifications you need to do the course
<p><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:"Source Sans Pro",sans-serif">Students must be able to confidently crochet the basic stitches (chain, double, half treble and treble). A basic level of conversational and written English and reasonable motor skills as you will need to be able to hold a crochet hook and yarn. </span></span></p>
What you need to bring with you
<p><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:"Source Sans Pro",sans-serif">Face-to-Face sessions: There will be hooks and yarn available for students to borrow. Whatever is completed during the session can be taken home. Tools will need to be returned at the end of the session. If you have your own tools, please feel free to bring them. </span></span></span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:"Source Sans Pro",sans-serif">Please note we cannot guarantee yarn colours available so if you wish to work with your favourite colour you are advised to bring your own.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:"Source Sans Pro",sans-serif">Remote sessions: Students will need to provide a 4-5mm hook, yarn (double knit), scissors. </span></span></p>
How you will be assessed
<p><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:"Source Sans Pro",sans-serif">Through questions and answers, the completion of weekly learner reflection forms and a sample of your work completed during the session</span></span></p>
