What is this course about?
<p><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:"Source Sans Pro",sans-serif">This course is aimed at complete beginners and those wishing to refresh their crochet skills. You’ll learn how to use crochet tools, create basic crochet stitches, and how read a pattern and graph. Time is allocated to allow you to work on your own small project.</span></span></p>
Who is the course for?
<p><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:"Source Sans Pro",sans-serif">For people who want to learn how to learn how to crochet the basic stitches and simple crochet projects such as a granny square. </span></span></p>
Any previous experience/qualifications you need to do the course
<p style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:"Source Sans Pro",sans-serif">A basic level of conversational and written English is required plus reasonable small motor skills, as you will need to hold yarn and a hook</span></span></p>
What you need to bring with you
<p><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:"Source Sans Pro",sans-serif">Face-to-Face sessions: There will be hooks and yarn available for students to borrow. Whatever is completed during the session can be taken home. Tools will need to be returned at the end of the session. If you have your own tools, please feel free to bring them. </span></span></span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:"Source Sans Pro",sans-serif">Please note we cannot guarantee yarn colours available so if you wish to work with your favourite colour you are advised to bring your own.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:"Source Sans Pro",sans-serif">Remote sessions: Students will need to provide a 4-5mm hook, yarn (double knit), scissors. </span></span></p>
How you will be assessed
<p><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:"Source Sans Pro",sans-serif">Through questions and answers, the completion of weekly learner reflection forms and a sample of your work completed during the session.</span></span></span></span></p>
