Introduction to Information, Advice or Guidance

<p><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:&#34;Arial&#34;,sans-serif">This short workshop is focused on highlighting the essential components and considerations when delivering Information, Advice or Guidance (IAG).  Topics explored include: GDPR, unconscious bias, fact v opinion, effective communication skills and common barriers.</span></span></span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:&#34;Source Sans Pro&#34;,sans-serif">Individuals who would like to gain a deeper understanding of what is meant by information, advice or guidance; and essential factors to be considered when delivering IAG as a service. </span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:&#34;Arial&#34;,sans-serif">A good level of conversational English is needed to complete this course.</span></span> <span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:&#34;Arial&#34;,sans-serif">No previous knowledge is required, however some digital skills are essential as this will be an online course that includes using Word doc/Google doc.</span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:&#34;Source Sans Pro&#34;,sans-serif">If online, learners must have access to a laptop, tablet or desktop with good wifi and a webcam.</span></span></span></span></p>
