Creative Writing

<p><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:&#34;Source Sans Pro&#34;,sans-serif">This course is aimed at those who wish to discover effective methods for writing fiction. During the sessions we will explore a range of simple techniques to help inspire you and create well constructed stories with interesting characters</span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:&#34;Source Sans Pro&#34;,sans-serif">For people who want to learn the basics of storytelling or explore techniques to expand on existing fiction writing skills.   </span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:&#34;Source Sans Pro&#34;,sans-serif">A basic level of conversational and written English is required and a wiliness to play games.</span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:&#34;Source Sans Pro&#34;,sans-serif">Face to Face sessions: Notebook or scrapbook (depending on preference for lined or unlined paper) and pen. </span></span></span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:&#34;Source Sans Pro&#34;,sans-serif">Remote sessions: Students will need to provide paper and pen or pencil. </span></span></span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:&#34;Source Sans Pro&#34;,sans-serif">Through questions and answers, the completion of weekly learner reflection forms and a sample of your work completed during the session.</span></span></span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:&#34;Source Sans Pro&#34;,sans-serif">An hour or two per week to practice skills covered during each session. </span></span></span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:&#34;Source Sans Pro&#34;,sans-serif">During this course we will talk to you about your next steps which could include attending other courses/workshops such as our Writing for Pleasure and Profit course, Poetry course or our Visual Poetry workshop.</span></span></span></span></p>
