What is this course about?

<p><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">This qualification prepares learners for further learning and training whilst developing an understanding of the teaching and learning environment in a school setting. It covers areas such as how to support the well-being of a child or young person and child and young person development.</span></span></span></p>

Any previous experience/qualifications you need to do the course

<p><span style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-family:&#34;Source Sans Pro&#34;,sans-serif">Learners must have basic digital skills to be able to complete and upload work.</span></span></p>

What you need to bring with you

How you will be assessed

<p><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-family:&#34;Source Sans Pro&#34;,sans-serif">This is a portfolio based course. Assessment tasks will be set weekly and will vary from written assignments, quizzes, creating posters etc.</span></span></span></span></p>

How much studying will I need to do outside the lesson?

<p><span style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-family:&#34;Source Sans Pro&#34;,sans-serif">Homework tasks will be set every week, so learners should be prepared to spend 2-3 hrs each week outside of the lesson time to complete these assignments</span></span></p>
