What is this course about?
<p>We ALL have something to give to our community and exploring volunteering roles can also give you something back. This qualification course will guide you through the benefits of volunteering, volunteering organisations and local opportunities. It will also help you to evaluate and match your skills to the requirements of specific volunteering roles, to understand the regulations and boundaries of being a volunteer and to take part in some exciting local volunteering projects.</p>
Who is this course for?
<p>This short course is designed for people who are currently working in a volunteering role in Haringey or another local borough or for those who wish to explore getting started as a volunteer.</p>
Are there any entry requirements?
<p>You must be aged 19 or older by the 31st of August 2025. You will complete an English assessment and need to be working at entry 3 or above.</p>
Do I need to have an interview before I can enrol?
<p>You will have an initial assessment where you will discuss your learning aims and needs. If the course is not suitable for you, will advise you of another course more suitable to your needs at this time.</p>
