Award in Volunteering Level 1 (NCFE)

<p>We ALL have something to give to our community and exploring volunteering roles can also give you something back. This qualification course will guide you through the benefits of volunteering, volunteering organisations and local opportunities. It will also help you to evaluate and match your skills to the requirements of specific volunteering roles, to understand the regulations and boundaries of being a volunteer and to take part in some exciting local volunteering projects.</p>

<p>This short course is designed for people who are currently working in a volunteering role in Haringey or another local borough or for those who wish to explore getting started as a volunteer.</p>

<p>You must be aged 19 or older by the 31st of August 2025. You will complete an English assessment and need to be working at entry 3 or above.</p>

<p>You will have an initial assessment where you will discuss your learning aims and needs. If the course is not suitable for you, will advise you of another course more suitable to your needs at this time.</p>

<p>Course will be taught face to face</p>

<p>Your tutor will provide feedback on an ongoing basis.</p>

<p>Via course evaluation</p>

<p>You may continue with other employability based courses.</p>

<p>The course will be  delivered on-site.</p>

<p>You will need to complete a portfolio of work which will be assessed by your tutor and verified by the exam board NCFE.</p>
