What the course is about
<p>This<strong> </strong>3 week course will revisit some of the themes covered in the Introduction to Organic Food Growing in greater depth. It will cover the practicalities of managing a compost heap and the use of plant tonics to remedy nutrient deficiencies. You will be asked to consider how a garden can be managed for different users and how to increase the crop by specific growing methods. More advanced propagation methods will be covered as well as companion planting for particular purposes before considering the growing requirements of some common food plants. </p>
