<p>The Royal Borough’s strategic vision for Adult and Community Learning (ACL) is&nbsp; to deliver high quality adult and community learning that enables learners to improve their skills so they can achieve their personal, social or economic goals, aspirations, quality of life and wellbeing.&nbsp; (see the ACL strategy on the council’s website and the Corporate plan)</p><p>The Royal Borough’s Corporate Plan objectives including:</p><p>A Healthier Greenwich: support for those experiencing mental health issues, address food poverty and poor.&nbsp; Royal borough, Adult and Community Learning that enables learners to improve their skills so they can achieve their personal, social or economic goals, aspirations, quality of life and wellbeing or nutrition, reduce obesity and childhood obesity levels</p><p>A Safer Greenwich: foster cohesive communities and counter radicalism&nbsp;</p><p>Economic Prosperity for All: support more people into work, support business start-ups, lift residents out of poverty, give all residents opportunities to prosper&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>A Great Place to Grow up: improve outcomes for children, encourage young families to stay in the Borough&nbsp;</p><p>A Great place to be: equality of access for all, reduce social isolation, improve cultural offer and showcase local talent Funding and delivery&nbsp;</p><p>The Royal Borough’s ACL programme is now funded by&nbsp; Mayor of London and administered by the Greater London Authority (GLA).&nbsp; A small number of non-London resident learners and Apprenticeship provision continues to be funded by the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA).&nbsp; The Council sub-contracts its delivery to partner and community organisations commissioned through a Framework Agreement set up specifically for this purpose.</p>
