Access Award in Bookkeeping Level 1

<p>Students will develop an understanding of:&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>- the basics of manual bookkeeping&nbsp;</p><p>- the role of the bookkeeper, the need for confidentiality and accuracy in their work.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>- Students will learn how to identify assets, liabilities, income and expenses; how to identify profit and loss; and the differences between trading for cash and trading on credit.</p>

No prerequisites are set for the study of this qualification.

certificate for the qualification, they will have the opportunity to sit a
single exam at our centre as our social value offer/added value to the
learners.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p>At the end of the course, learners will get a "Certificate of Attendance" from The Training Place of Excellence.</p><p>Upon taking the exam and passing, learners will get an accredited certificate from AAT.</p>

<p>Learners will have the opportunity to progress to either:</p><p>- further education and learning at Level 3</p><p>- apprenticeships</p><p>- employment</p>

Students must successfully complete one end-of-qualification assessment to achieve this qualification.&nbsp;<p><br></p><p>All assessments in this qualification:&nbsp;</p><p>• are set and marked by AAT&nbsp;</p><p>• are computer-based&nbsp;</p><p>• are time-limited&nbsp;</p><p><br></p>
