<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:12.0pt">High-quality introduction to practical bookkeeping and work
experience in accounting as applicable in the workplace at an introductory
level.&nbsp;</p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:12.0pt">Tutor support is offered in delivering work placements and practical
accounting tasks and each individual will have their bookkeeping tasks assigned and will work at their individual pace in completing the set work place tasks.&nbsp;<o:p></o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:12.0pt">This will involve tasks such as:</p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:12.0pt">-Dealing with nominal codes and coding systems</p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:12.0pt">-Creating suppliers and customers accounts</p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:12.0pt">-Posting customers and suppliers invoices and credit notes</p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:12.0pt">-Dealing with bank postings and bank reconciliations</p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:12.0pt">-Generating reports and documents</p>

No experience or qualifications are required.

No materials are required from learners as the needed materials are provided. If you have a laptop or computer, this will be useful for personal and further practice.

There are no end-of-course exams.

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:12.0pt">A "Certificate of Attendance" will be issued by The Training Place
of Excellence.&nbsp;<o:p></o:p></p>

Learners will have the opportunity to progress to either:<p>-further education and learning at level 2 or 3</p><p>-an apprenticeship in accounting&nbsp;</p><p>-employment</p>

There is no formal assessment.

No equipment is required.
