What the course is about

<p>Have you ever wondered how apps and websites work? The basic concepts are quite simple to grasp, and are now taught to children from primary school. Come along to this online course and discover what &#039;code&#039; is, how it works, and what you can do with it. Starting with an entertaining animation app, you&#039;ll be taught simple code in a fun and interesting way, and you&#039;ll discover more uses for code using Google Apps Script.</p>

<p>Courses may fill up quickly. You must pre-enrol for this course. We will send you a link to join the first session online a few days before the course starts. Please note there will be no session on the May Day Bank Holiday (06/05/2024) and Spring Bank Holiday (27/05/2024).</p>

Previous experience, knowledge or qualifications

<p>You must be confident in using email, searching online, and creating and editing simple documents. If you don&#039;t yet have these skills, you should join Digital Basics Stage 1: Using Devices & Communicating Online, Digital Basics Stage 2: Creating & Editing or Digital Basics Stage 3: Shopping, Accounts & Internet Safety. You should also have the skills to access and take part in an online meeting and a stable internet connection.</p>
