What the course is about

Join our group to practice your reading and discussion skills in English! Each week, you'll agree with your tutor what you will read. This could be a short story, a newspaper or magazine article, or a book from the library. You'll come together and discuss your reading, and learn new grammar and vocabulary, too. This group is for people with English language skills at Entry 3 (B1) or above.

This course is open for online enrolment, but your English level will be checked when you join. Please bring any previous ESOL certificates to the first session.

Previous experience, knowledge or qualifications

As a minimum, you should already have achieved full ESOL Entry 2 (A2) and be working towards ESOL Entry 3 (B1). More advanced learners are welcome to join us. You should commit to reading regularly between each weekly session.
