What the course is about
<p>People have exchanged gifts from ancient times right up to the present day. These gifts may be small or large, hand-made or highly crafted but all hold meaning as they pass from the giver to the recipient. Discover objects from the British Museum collection which tells us about the process of gift giving and the different occasions and life events which they celebrate. This workshop is suitable for all adult learners and uses images and spoken information to introduce, explore and discuss the workshop topic.</p>
<p>Priority will be given to residents of the London Borough of Camden for this workshop, however other residents of the United Kingdom are welcome to apply.</p>
