What the course is about
<p>This course follows on directly from our Introduction to Generative AI short course. You'll gain a deeper understanding of AI, and how it can help you at work and in your daily life. You'll go into prompt design in more depth, and explore some more of the common AI tools in use. You'll also develop your critical thinking skills, especially around AI hallucinations, misinformation and disinformation.</p>
<p>Courses may fill up quickly, so enrol online if you can, or come to the first session to enrol and guarantee your place.</p>

Previous experience, knowledge or qualifications
<p>You should have completed our Introduction to Generative AI short course, or have a similar basic level. You should be able to identify and use common AI tools, construct simple prompts, and critically evaluate AI generations. If you have never used AI before, you should join our Introduction to Generative AI course later in the summer.</p>
