What can students expect?
<p><span style="font-size:16px"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">An immersive week of exploring different printmaking techniques, printing on paper and fabric including:</span></span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size:12pt"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"><span style="color:black">Learners are then encouraged to develop more extended projects, through discussion with the tutor. Both water & oil-based inks are used. There is an etching and relief press available, a proofing press and a collection of vintage wooden and metal letterpress type. Various sizes of silk screens are also available.</span></span></span></span></p>

What is the progression route?
<p><span style="font-size:16px"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Work produced could go towards portfolio for entry into FE & HE courses. It is also possible to make items to sell or exhibit. If printing on fabric, the work will be suitable for clothing, upholstery as well as display.</span></span></span></p>
What should students bring?

<li><span style="font-size:16px"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Basic drawing materials, scissors and sketch or notebook.</span></span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size:16px"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">A scalpel – ideally Swann Morton with 10A blade.</span></span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size:16px"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Apron or equivalent.</span></span></span></li>

<p><span style="font-size:16px"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Learners can come with a completely open mind as to what they will do, or with drawings, photos or other resources as a starting point.</span></span></span></p>
Teaching method/style?
<p><span style="font-size:16px"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">At the start of the week techniques are introduced, then learners are supported on a 1:1 basis. </span><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Some learners choose to experiment all week. Others come with a plan; the tutor is happy to discuss plans before the week so learners can prepare.</span></span></span></p>

Refunds and cancellations
<ul>
<li><span style="font-size:16px"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">If we have to cancel your course your fees will be refunded in full. We are unable to reimburse the cost of materials you may have bought for the course.</span></span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size:16px"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">If you cancel your course booking a week (7 days) or more before the start date we will refund your fees minus an admin charge of 20%.</span></span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size:16px"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">If you cancel with less than a week (7 days) before the start date or after the course has started, we will not be able to refund your fees.</span></span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size:16px"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Transfers will incur a fee of 10% and must be requested 7 days or more before the start of a course unless you are transferring to another course because your original course was cancelled.</span></span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size:16px"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">We are not able to offer refunds due to sickness or ill health.</span></span></span></li>
