The course is intensive, giving the opportunity to become immersed in the process of making and creativity. </span></span></span></span></span></p>

What can students expect?

<p><span style="font-size:16px"><span style="font-family:&#34;Times New Roman&#34;,serif"><span style="font-family:&#34;Arial&#34;,sans-serif">An immersive week of exploring different printmaking techniques, printing on paper and fabric including:</span></span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size:12pt"><span style="font-family:&#34;Times New Roman&#34;,serif"><span style="font-family:&#34;Arial&#34;,sans-serif"><span style="color:black">Learners are then encouraged to develop more extended projects, through discussion with the tutor. Both water & oil-based inks are used. There is an etching and relief press available, a proofing press and a collection of vintage wooden and metal letterpress type. Various sizes of silk screens are also available.</span></span></span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size:12pt"><span style="font-family:&#34;Times New Roman&#34;,serif"><span style="font-family:&#34;Arial&#34;,sans-serif"><span style="color:black">The course is suitable for those new to printmaking and experienced artists who want a fresh input into their practice.</span></span><strong> </strong></span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size:16px"><span style="font-family:&#34;Times New Roman&#34;,serif"><span style="background-color:white"><span style="font-family:&#34;Arial&#34;,sans-serif"><span style="color:#333333"><strong><span style="background-color:yellow">This course will be delivered at St Paul&#039;s Learning Centre.</span></strong></span></span></span></span></span></p>

What is the progression route?

<p><span style="font-size:16px"><span style="font-family:&#34;Times New Roman&#34;,serif"><span style="font-family:&#34;Arial&#34;,sans-serif">Work produced could go towards portfolio for entry into FE & HE courses. It is also possible to make items to sell or exhibit. If printing on fabric, the work will be suitable for clothing, upholstery as well as display.</span></span></span></p>

Are there any extra costs?

<p><span style="font-size:16px"><span style="font-family:&#34;Times New Roman&#34;,serif"><span style="font-family:&#34;Arial&#34;,sans-serif">Most materials are included in the fee. Learners may want to purchase specialist paper from the tutor. If interested in using riso screens, images can be made by the tutor for a fee, depending on size.</span></span></span></p>

What should students bring?

<p><span style="font-size:16px"><span style="font-family:&#34;Times New Roman&#34;,serif"><span style="font-family:&#34;Arial&#34;,sans-serif">Learners can come with a completely open mind as to what they will do, or with drawings, photos or other resources to use as a starting point.</span></span></span></p>

Teaching method/style?

<p><span style="font-size:16px"><span style="font-family:&#34;Times New Roman&#34;,serif"><span style="font-family:&#34;Arial&#34;,sans-serif">At the start of the week techniques are introduced, then learners are supported on a 1:1 basis. </span><span style="font-family:&#34;Arial&#34;,sans-serif">Some learners choose to experiment all week. Others come with a plan; the tutor is happy to discuss plans before the week so learners can prepare.</span></span></span></p>

Refunds and cancellations

<ul>
<li><span style="font-size:16px"><span style="font-family:&#34;Times New Roman&#34;,serif"><span style="font-family:&#34;Arial&#34;,sans-serif">If we have to cancel your course your fees will be refunded in full. We are unable to reimburse the cost of materials you may have bought for the course.</span></span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size:16px"><span style="font-family:&#34;Times New Roman&#34;,serif"><span style="font-family:&#34;Arial&#34;,sans-serif">If you cancel your course booking a week (7 days) or more before the start date we will refund your fees minus an admin charge of 20%.</span></span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size:16px"><span style="font-family:&#34;Times New Roman&#34;,serif"><span style="font-family:&#34;Arial&#34;,sans-serif">If you cancel with less than a week (7 days) before the start date or after the course has started, we will not be able to refund your fees.</span></span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size:16px"><span style="font-family:&#34;Times New Roman&#34;,serif"><span style="font-family:&#34;Arial&#34;,sans-serif">Transfers will incur a fee of 10% and must be requested 7 days or more before the start of a course unless you are transferring to another course because your original course was cancelled.</span></span></span></li>
