Late starters allowed?

Yes, but this is a short course, so it is best to join by week 2.

Previous experience required?

Not necessarily – but ‘Improvers’ suggests students have some previous knowledge. This might be an interest from some time ago – a school subject briefly studied; dabbling a bit now and then; belonging to an untutored group that paints for fun; following watercolour painting on a media website, blog or taking one of the many art-based magazines. If you are considering this course, it is probably the one you need.

What is the progression route?

Future watercolour courses or other art courses.

Are there any extra costs?

Yes. Learners supply own materials depending on personal choice of paint, surface, and outcome. (i.e. expensive pigments, quality of paper, framing or portfolio for storage etc).

Work set between sessions?

No

Might be best to talk to tutor about this on session one before investment is made.
