Description

<p><span style="font-size:16px"><span style="font-family:Arial,sans-serif">A short introduction to acrylics. You will learn new skills to help develop your confidence with acrylics. The course will include painting from still life and landscapes/seascape. </span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size:16px"><span style="font-family:Arial,sans-serif">You will be inspired to develop your own individual style of painting. For absolute beginners. </span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size:16px"><span style="font-family:Arial,sans-serif">The fee includes some materials; tutor will advise you on what to buy during 1<sup>st</sup> session. </span></span></p>

What can students expect?

<p><span style="font-size:16px"><span style="font-family:Arial,sans-serif">You will explore colour mixing, how to apply paint, what equipment, paints, brushes and canvases you need. </span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size:16px"><span style="font-family:Arial,sans-serif">You will learn how to paint landscapes, seascapes and still life, with tutor-led demonstrations, advice and guidance. </span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size:16px"><span style="font-family:Arial,sans-serif">This is a friendly, supported and structured course, which will help you be inspired to develop your own individual style of painting.</span></span></p>

Equipment Required

<li><span style="font-size:16px"><span style="font-family:Arial,sans-serif">Acrylic paint, you can buy a set of mixed acyclic paint in a box to start with</span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size:16px"><span style="font-family:Arial,sans-serif">If you wish to buy individual paints the following are what you need. titanium white, lemon yellow, yellow ochre, cadmium red, alizarin crimson, cerlean blue, ultramarine blue, burnt umber, raw umber, payne&#039;s grey, veridian green, hookers green and cadmium yellow</span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size:16px"><span style="font-family:Arial,sans-serif">Set of brushes, small round various sizes, 4,6 and 8, Filbert, large flat, fan brush, and a rigger brush. </span><strong>Mary will advise you on what brushes to buy during 1<sup>st</sup> session</strong></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size:16px"><span style="font-family:Arial,sans-serif">A palette knife</span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size:16px"><span style="font-family:Arial,sans-serif">Jcloth or kitchen roll</span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size:16px"><span style="font-family:Arial,sans-serif">Mixing palette or white plate</span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size:16px"><span style="font-family:Arial,sans-serif">Canvas board, acrylic paper or some canvases</span></span></li>

Refunds and cancellations

<ul>
<li><span style="font-size:12pt"><span style="font-family:&#34;Times New Roman&#34;,serif"><span style="font-family:&#34;Arial&#34;,sans-serif">If we have to cancel your course your fees will be refunded in full. We are unable to reimburse the cost of materials you may have bought for the course.</span></span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size:12pt"><span style="font-family:&#34;Times New Roman&#34;,serif"><span style="font-family:&#34;Arial&#34;,sans-serif">If you cancel your course booking a week (7 days) or more before the start date we will refund your fees minus an admin charge of 20%.</span></span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size:12pt"><span style="font-family:&#34;Times New Roman&#34;,serif"><span style="font-family:&#34;Arial&#34;,sans-serif">If you cancel with less than a week (7 days) before the start date or after the course has started, we will not be able to refund your fees.</span></span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size:12pt"><span style="font-family:&#34;Times New Roman&#34;,serif"><span style="font-family:&#34;Arial&#34;,sans-serif">Transfers will incur a fee of 10% and must be requested 7 days or more before the start of a course unless you are transferring to another course because your original course was cancelled.</span></span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size:12pt"><span style="font-family:&#34;Times New Roman&#34;,serif"><span style="font-family:&#34;Arial&#34;,sans-serif">We are not able to offer refunds due to sickness or ill health.</span></span></span></li>

<p><span style="font-size:12pt"><span style="font-family:&#34;Times New Roman&#34;,serif"><span style="font-family:&#34;Arial&#34;,sans-serif">When attending an online course, it is a learner’s responsibility to ensure they have adequate internet access before the start of a course. Refunds will not be given for technical failure of a learner’s home computer or their internet access.</span></span></span></p>
