Description

A creative introduction to Christmas papercrafting, this course covers the essential skills needed to design and construct a variety of festive paper projects.

What can students expect?

Transform paper into festive masterpieces with this Christmas Papercraft course. 

This creative and enjoyable course will guide you through the design, cutting, folding and assembly of a variety of seasonal crafts, including decorations, personalised gift wrap and 3D ornaments. 

You will learn essential papercraft techniques such as folding, layering and precision cutting, while adding a unique handmade touch to your holiday celebrations. Whether you are creating festive home décor, handmade gifts or special keepsakes, this course will equip you with the skills and confidence to craft beautiful Christmas projects that can be enjoyed year after year.

What is the progression route?

Other craft courses such as printmaking.

Are there any extra costs?

Yes. Materials will be available to purchase directly from the tutor depending on each project. Please bring cash.

Work set between sessions?

Learners are encouraged to practise in between sessions.

What should students bring?

Teaching method/style?

Demonstrations, practical exercises, and individual and group feedback.

See list above. In addition, any odds and ends of thin ribbon, coloured paper and card i.e. mirror board but only if you already have them.

If we cancel your course

If you cancel

<li>7 days or more before the start date: refund minus a 20% administration fee.</li>
<li>Less than 7 days before the start date or after the course has started: no refund provided.</li>
<li>Enrolments are non-transferable. If you are unable to attend, you will not be able to send another person in your place.</li>
</ul>

Refund processing

<ul>
<li>Refunds for online or telephone enrolments will be made via the original payment method within 14 days of approval. </li>
<li>If you enrolled in the office, you will need to come in with your payment card to arrange a refund.</li>
</ul>

Transfers

<ul>
<li>7 days or more before the start date: transfer minus a 10% transfer fee.</li>
<li>Less than 7 days before the start date or after the course has started: no transfer provided.</li>
<li>All transfers are subject to availability.</li>
<li>Transfers between Language levels may be possible with less than 7 days’ notice, subject to availability.</li>
<li>Enrolments are non-transferable. If you are unable to attend, you will not be able to send another person in your place.</li>
<li>If we cancel your course, and you wish to transfer to another course this will be free of charge.</li>
