Description

Ideal for those who have mastered the basics and are ready to elevate their craft. This course focuses on the top-down crochet technique to create a made-to-measure seamless garment. Taught in right-handed technique.

What can students expect?

You will learn the top-down crochet method and create a seamless garment. You will be able to decide the style and length of your garment. You will discuss swatching for your project (checking if your stitches match up with these of a pattern) and how to calculate how much yarn you need to complete it. Finally, you will learn how to block your garment and get it ready to wear. A guide to the yarn needed for this course will be sent before the start of the course. Previous experience required?

Yes. Ideally you will have some knowledge of crochet basics or have completed the “Learn How To Crochet-Beginners” and “Learn How To Crochet-Intermediates" courses.

What is the progression route?

Learners can enrol on the “Crochet Plus: Granny Square Jumper” or “Tunisian Crochet-Beginners” or other intermediate crochet courses.

Are there any extra costs?

Yes. Some materials for the first session are included in the fee, however, learners need to provide yarn and a hook. A guide to the yarn needed for this course will be sent before the start of the course. Please, wait until you receive the guide to buy any yarn.

Work set between sessions?

Practising between sessions is recommended.
