Unleash your creativity by transforming coffee into art in this unique one-day workshop. Learners will explore the versatile medium of coffee as paint, experimenting with various techniques and styles to create stunning, coffee-inspired artwork.

What can students expect?

<li>Preparation and mixing of coffee paints in different tones and strengths</li>
<li>Basic brushstrokes, blending, and layering techniques using coffee paint</li>
<li>Experimental methods, such as coffee splattering and using coffee stains for texture</li>
<li>Composition and design principles for creating cohesive coffee-inspired artworks</li>
</ul>

By the end of this workshop, learners will have gained a new perspective on the artistic potential of coffee and developed the skills to create their own beautiful, unique coffee-inspired paintings. 

This course will be delivered at Stoke Lodge.

What should students bring?

<ul>
<li>Watercolour paper </li>
<li>Drawing pencils (such as HB or 2B) for sketching and outlining</li>
<li>A kneaded eraser for making corrections or adjustments to sketches</li>
<li>Masking fluid for preserving white spaces or creating texture in coffee paintings</li>
<li>A selection of brushes in various sizes</li>
<li>A palette or small containers for mixing coffee</li>
<li>Water container</li>
<li>Optional: additional materials such as watercolour paints, coloured pencils, or ink for adding accents and details</li>
</ul>

Teaching method/style?

Hands-on and interactive, focusing on step-by-step demonstrations and practical exercises to guide participants through the process of creating coffee-inspired artworks.

Refunds and cancellations

<li>If we have to cancel your course your fees will be refunded in full. We are unable to reimburse the cost of materials you may have bought for the course.</li>
<li>If you cancel your course booking a week (7 days) or more before the start date we will refund your fees minus an admin charge of 20%.</li>
<li>If you cancel with less than a week (7 days) before the start date or after the course has started, we will not be able to refund your fees.</li>
<li>Transfers will incur a fee of 10% and must be requested 7 days or more before the start of a course unless you are transferring to another course because your original course was cancelled.</li>
<li>We are not able to offer refunds due to sickness or ill health.</li>
</ul>

 

If you are due a refund you must contact the office within 3 months of the course to arrange payment as we do not keep card details.

When attending an online course, it is a learner’s responsibility to ensure they have adequate internet access before the start of a course. Refunds will not be given for technical failure of a learner’s home computer or their internet access.
