Description
<p><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">A one-day workshop that can be used as a “taster” or as an opportunity to complete an unfinished project. </span></span><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Learners bring own piece of furniture; new learners should contact the tutor in advance for advice on the suitability of individual projects. </span></span></p>

What can students expect?
<p><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">This is a practical workshop. After a brief introduction, you will start working on your project immediately. Since the learning is based on individual projects and includes both new and experienced learners, the pace of tuition can be uneven; please be patient! We recommend wearing sensible clothes and shoes due to dust from stripping furniture and loose tacks and staples on the floor. </span></span></p>

Previous experience required?
<p><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">The course is for learners who have unfinished projects and don't want to start a new term. New learners are welcome and will get help with re-upholstering a small piece, like a stool or dining chair, that can be completed in a day. Experience with hand or machine sewing would be beneficial.</span></span></p>
What is the progression route?
<p><span style="font-size:16px">Learners can re-enrol on a similar workshop, weekly course or Summer School to work on other projects.</span></p>
Are there any extra costs?
<p><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Yes. Materials will be provided by the tutor at a moderate cost or can be purchased elsewhere beforehand. Top cover fabric and braid are also required. If buying from the tutor, please bring cash or a cheque book</span></span></p>

What should students bring?
