What can students expect?

<p><span style="font-size:12pt"><span style="font-family:&#34;Times New Roman&#34;,serif"><span style="font-family:&#34;Arial&#34;,sans-serif">Hands-on experience from the start; you will begin work on their project after a short introduction. There may be dust involved when stripping the furniture therefore dress appropriately. As the learning is based on individuals’ projects, the pace of tuition can be uneven, please be patient! </span></span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size:12pt"><span style="font-family:&#34;Times New Roman&#34;,serif"><span style="font-family:&#34;Arial&#34;,sans-serif">This workshop will be delivered at Stoke Lodge.</span></span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:&#34;Arial&#34;,sans-serif">Pieces of furniture cannot be stored at Stoke Lodge due to limited storage space. This applies even if you have booked on a future Friday/Saturday workshop.  </span></span></p>

Previous experience required?

<p><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:&#34;Arial&#34;,sans-serif">The course is primarily for learners who have started a project and not yet finished it, but do not want to embark on a whole new term. New learners are also welcome and will be aided in the re-upholstery of their project but need to bring a small piece such as a stool or drop in seat/dining chair that can be finished in a day.<br />
Experience of hand and/or machine sewing will be useful.</span></span></p>

What is the progression route?

<p><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:&#34;Arial&#34;,sans-serif">Strip furniture of top cover +/- some or all of the upholstery, reupholster as necessary then fit fabric of learners choice.</span></span></p>

Are there any extra costs?

<p><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:&#34;Arial&#34;,sans-serif">Yes. The materials learners need will be supplied by the Tutor at a moderate cost or can be purchased elsewhere by the learners prior to the day if they know what they will need. Top cover fabric +/- braid is also required. (If purchasing from the tutor please bring cash or cheque book).</span></span></p>

What should students bring?

<p><span style="font-size:12pt"><span style="font-family:&#34;Times New Roman&#34;,serif"><span style="font-family:&#34;Arial&#34;,sans-serif">A small piece of furniture or unfinished project, top cover fabric and braid (if appropriate).</span></span></span></p>

Refunds and cancellations

<ul>
<li><span style="font-size:12pt"><span style="font-family:&#34;Times New Roman&#34;,serif"><span style="font-family:&#34;Arial&#34;,sans-serif">If we have to cancel your course your fees will be refunded in full. We are unable to reimburse the cost of materials you may have bought for the course.</span></span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size:12pt"><span style="font-family:&#34;Times New Roman&#34;,serif"><span style="font-family:&#34;Arial&#34;,sans-serif">If you cancel your course booking a week (7 days) or more before the start date we will refund your fees minus an admin charge of 20%.</span></span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size:12pt"><span style="font-family:&#34;Times New Roman&#34;,serif"><span style="font-family:&#34;Arial&#34;,sans-serif">If you cancel with less than a week (7 days) before the start date or after the course has started, we will not be able to refund your fees.</span></span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size:12pt"><span style="font-family:&#34;Times New Roman&#34;,serif"><span style="font-family:&#34;Arial&#34;,sans-serif">Transfers will incur a fee of 10% and must be requested 7 days or more before the start of a course unless you are transferring to another course because your original course was cancelled.</span></span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size:12pt"><span style="font-family:&#34;Times New Roman&#34;,serif"><span style="font-family:&#34;Arial&#34;,sans-serif">We are not able to offer refunds due to sickness or ill health.</span></span></span></li>

Refunds will not be given for technical failure of a learner’s home computer or their internet access.</span></span></span></p>
