Daily life in ancient Rome

<p><span style="font-size:16px"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif">This short one-off course will take the student on a quick tour of various aspects of daily life in ancient Rome. Although aimed at the novice with little or no experience of the ancient world I hope there will be something here for everyone.</span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size:16px"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif">This course provides a glimpse into the real daily life of the million or so inhabitants of this great city. Chariots, emperors, gladiators, vestal virgins – these all provide the backdrop for our lightening tour of ancient Rome. On the way we will look at food and drink, slaves, education and entertainment. The short course is a one-off, but I will be running further courses set in the ancient world.</span></span></p>

We are unable to reimburse the cost of materials you may have bought for the course.</span></span></span></li>
