Fabric Weaving-Beginners

<p><span style="font-size:12pt"><span style="font-family:&#34;Times New Roman&#34;,serif"><span style="font-family:&#34;Arial&#34;,sans-serif">A creative introduction to hand-weaving on a rigid heddle loom, guiding learners through the process of making cotton fabric and transforming it into unique, personalised pieces. <strong>Please note the April course will be shorter at 5 weeks so learners will produce slightly less fabric while still learning all the skills.</strong></span></span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:&#34;Arial&#34;,sans-serif">You will learn how to warp, wind and thread up a rigid heddle loom, hem stitch your creation and finish your fabric so that it can be used long into the future. We will cover why tension is one of the most important parts of weaving and the difference between a warp and a weft. The course introduces advanced techniques for more complex patterning and develops design skills, with a focus on using colour and texture creatively.</span></span></span></p>
