Description

<p>One-day, project-based workshop exploring a variety of zip insertion techniques.</p>

What can students expect?

<p>Discover simple tips and techniques to make installing zips easier and more professional. Starting with a regular zip and progressing to more advanced invisible zips, you will learn how to use the essential tools and methods needed to sew zips with confidence. The tutor will demonstrate each technique step by step in a supportive and friendly environment, with plenty of opportunities to practise using the materials provided. Ongoing one-to-one support will help you develop the skills and confidence to successfully insert a variety of zips into your own sewing projects.</p>

<p>No.</p>

Previous experience required?

<p>Yes. This is not suitable for complete beginners.</p>

What is the progression route?

<p>Learners can enrol on other sewing courses and workshops at Stoke Lodge.</p>

Are there any extra costs?

<p>No. Fee includes materials.</p>

Work set between sessions?

<p>No.</p>

What should students bring?

<p>Most sewing equipment is provided, but if you have them, please bring:</p>

<p>· Sewing machine (optional) – machines are available; please let us know if you need one</p>

<p>· Scissors</p>

<p>· Tape measure</p>

<p>· Seam ripper (unpicker)</p>

<p>· Pins</p>

<p>· Pencil and notepad for notes</p>

<p>· Packed lunch</p>

<p>If we cancel your course</p>

<p>· You will receive a full refund of course fees.</p>

<p>· We are not responsible for any additional costs, such as materials already purchased. If you cancel</p>

<p>· 7 days or more before the start date: refund minus a 20% administration fee.</p>

<p>· Less than 7 days before the start date or after the course has started: no refund provided.</p>

<p>· Enrolments are non-transferable. If you are unable to attend, you will not be able to send another person in your place. Refund processing</p>

<p>· Refunds for online or telephone enrolments will be made via the original payment method within 14 days of approval.</p>

<p>· If you enrolled in the office, you will need to come in with your payment card to arrange a refund. Transfers</p>

<p>· Less than 7 days before the start date or after the course has started: no transfer provided.</p>
