Description

A music appreciation workshop for classical music novices and enthusiasts, designed to engage and inspire. Holst's The Planets is a seven-movement suite from 1914-1917, each representing a planet's astrological character. It has had a lasting impact on classical music and remains popular today.

What can students expect?

These workshops are designed to make music accessible to everyone, offering an engaging exploration of its cultural and historical roots while deepening participants' intuitive connection to music. Open to both complete beginners and seasoned listeners, the sessions foster a shared love of music and a spirit of mutual learning. Each day includes informative background content, curated musical examples, and lively group discussions.

If we cancel your course

<li>Less than 7 days before the start date or after the course has started: no refund provided.</li>
<li>Enrolments are non-transferable. If you are unable to attend, you will not be able to send another person in your place.</li>

Refund processing

<li>Refunds for online or telephone enrolments will be made via the original payment method within 14 days of approval. </li>
<li>If you enrolled in the office, you will need to come in with your payment card to arrange a refund.</li>

Transfers

<li>Less than 7 days before the start date or after the course has started: no transfer provided.</li>
<li>All transfers are subject to availability.</li>
<li>Transfers between Language levels may be possible with less than 7 days notice, subject to availability.</li>

<li>If we cancel your course, and you wish to transfer to another course this will be free of charge.</li>
