You will continue to study sets 1-15 of the Chen Style Form and progress. You will explore health, strength and balance through good body alignment, relaxation and breathing. </span></span></span></span></p>

What can students expect?
<p><span style="font-size:16px"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">A friendly and relaxed class. We will start with gentle warming up exercises and progress through the foundation skills to improve body alignment, breathing and relaxation, balance and coordination. There will be plenty of opportunities to discuss and ask questions. We will learn movements of the <span style="background-color:white"><span style="color:#212529">Chen Style Form</span></span> – this is performed standing, but learners can take regular breaks if needed. All levels of fitness and ability welcome. </span></span></span></p>
<p><strong><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="background-color:yellow"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">This course will be delivered at the Cotswold Community Centre, Dursley Road, Shirehampton, Bristol BS11 9XH but will move ONLINE if necessary.</span></span></span></strong></p>

What is the progression route?
<p><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Tai Chi-Intermediates or re-enrol on this course but with some differentiation to acknowledge their experience.</span></span></p>

Work set between sessions?
<p><span style="font-size:16px">Yes. Learners are encouraged to practise between classes.</span></p>
What should students bring?
<p><span style="font-size:16px"><span style="font-family:Arial,sans-serif">Wear comfortable clothing and flat shoes/trainers with some grip. Bring water.</span></span></p>
Teaching method/style?
<p><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Friendly, relaxed, interactive class with opportunities to chat to other participants and ask questions. Exercises are taught through demonstration and explanation, followed by learners mirroring the tutor. This includes small group activities, pair work, and ultimately, individual practice. The tutor provides corrections throughout.</span></span></p>

<p><strong><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Stable internet connection, a tablet or PC and ability to use ZOOM if the course moves online.</span></span></strong></p>
Refunds and cancellations

<li><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">If we have to cancel your course your fees will be refunded in full. We are unable to reimburse the cost of materials you may have bought for the course.</span></span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">If you cancel your course booking a week (7 days) or more before the start date we will refund your fees minus an admin charge of 20%.</span></span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">If you cancel with less than a week (7 days) before the start date or after the course has started, we will not be able to refund your fees.</span></span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Transfers will incur a fee of 10% and must be requested 7 days or more before the start of a course unless you are transferring to another course because your original course was cancelled.</span></span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">We are not able to offer refunds due to sickness or ill health.</span></span></span></li>

Refunds will not be given for technical failure of a learner’s home computer or their internet access.</span></span></span></p>
