<p><span style="font-size:16px"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif"><span style="background-color:white"><span style="color:#212529">This course is designed for those who have prior experience of Tai Chi and are familiar with its fundamental principles. We will cover sets 1-28 of the Chen Style Form, with an emphasis on body alignment, relaxation, breathing, and integrated whole-body movements. Please dress in comfortable clothes and wear flat shoes.</span></span></span></span></p>

What can students expect?

<p><span style="font-size:16px"><span style="font-family:&#34;Times New Roman&#34;,serif"><span style="font-family:&#34;Arial&#34;,sans-serif">A friendly and relaxed class. We will do a gentle warm up, followed by foundation exercises to explore the underlying principles of Tai Chi: good body alignment, relaxation, balance and harmony of whole-body movements.  We will learn movements from the Chen style Tai Chi form. This is an Intermediate class and welcomes anyone who has done some Tai Chi before or is happy to practise in between classes to build their skills. </span></span></span></p>

Previous experience required?

<p style="margin-left:0cm"><span style="font-size:16px"><span style="font-family:Arial,sans-serif">Yes – either completion of a beginners’ course or an understanding of the basics of Tai Chi and a willingness to learn quickly/catch up (or an acceptance that they might be a bit behind others).</span></span></p>

What is the progression route?

<p><span style="font-size:16px"><span style="font-family:Arial,sans-serif">Tai Chi intermediate class will continue to build on learners experience and teaching will differentiate according to levels of skill.</span></span></p>

Work set between sessions?

<p><span style="font-size:16px">Yes. Learners are encouraged to practise between classes.</span></p>

What should students bring?

<p style="margin-left:0cm"><span style="font-size:16px"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif">Wear comfortable clothing and flat shoes/trainers with some grip. </span></span></p>

Teaching method/style?

<p style="margin-left:0cm"><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:&#34;Arial&#34;,sans-serif">Friendly, relaxed, interactive class with opportunities to chat to other participants and ask questions. Exercises are taught through demonstration and explanation, followed by learners mirroring the tutor. This includes small group activities, pair work, and ultimately, individual practice. The tutor provides corrections throughout.</span></span></p>

Refunds and cancellations

<ul>
<li><span style="font-size:16px"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif">If we have to cancel your course your fees will be refunded in full. We are unable to reimburse the cost of materials you may have bought for the course.</span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size:16px"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif">If you cancel your course booking a week (7 days) or more before the start date we will refund your fees minus an admin charge of 20%.</span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size:16px"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif">If you cancel with less than a week (7 days) before the start date or after the course has started, we will not be able to refund your fees.</span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size:16px"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif">Transfers will incur a fee of 10% and must be requested 7 days or more before the start of a course unless you are transferring to another course because your original course was cancelled.</span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size:16px"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif">We are not able to offer refunds due to sickness or ill health</span></span></li>
</ul>

<p style="margin-left:48px"><span style="font-size:16px"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif">If you are due a refund you must contact the office within 3 months of the course to arrange payment as we do not keep card details.</span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size:16px"><span style="font-family:&#34;Times New Roman&#34;,serif"><span style="font-family:&#34;Arial&#34;,sans-serif">When attending an online course, it is a learner’s responsibility to ensure they have adequate internet access before the start of a course. Refunds will not be given for technical failure of a learner’s home computer or their internet access.</span></span></span></p>
