Course description
<p>On this course you will develop and improve your skills to work as part of a team. You will take part in team activities and learn about your strengths and areas for improvement when working with others</p>
Course outcomes

<li>Explain what a team is and why teamwork is important to employers</li>
<li>Explain the stages of team development</li>
<li>Describe the characteristics and behaviours of a good team</li>
<li>Do an on-line personality test to establish your strengths and areas for improvement when working with others</li>

<p>No prior knowledge, understanding, skills or qualifications are required for you to register for this course. This is a course for personal development for those looking to return to work or for general learning and life purposes.</p>
What do I need to bring?
<p>All course material will be provided by the Tutor.</p>
How will I learn?
<p>You will work individually or as part of a group depending on requirements of the task. Visual aids, discussion, debates and practical tasks will be used throughout the programme.</p>
How will my progress be monitored and assessed?
<p>You will be assessed by the Tutor using various methods. This could take on the form of discussion, quizzes and/or games.</p>

What qualification will I get?
<p>This is a non-accredited course and therefore no qualification will be obtained.</p>
What will I be able to do after this course?
<p>You will be able to progress onto any qualification course as per your individual needs and requirements. You may also attend further courses on personal development. These can be discussed with an adviser should you need guidance on your next step.</p>
